About the role

As a CX Practitioner (Operational Excellence Leader), you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence across manufacturing operations. You will lead the deployment of Lean methodologies, continuous improvement initiatives, and productivity strategies to optimize efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.

This role directly impacts business results by improving manufacturing processes, strengthening standardization, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a CX Practitioner (Operational Excellence Leader), you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the deployment of Operational Excellence / Carrier Excellence (Cx) methodologies (Lean, Kaizen, TPS) across manufacturing operations.

• Managing the continuous improvement and productivity project portfolio, ensuring targets, ROI, and timelines are achieved.

• Leading, coaching, and developing the Industrial Engineering team.

• Driving standardized work implementation, including line balancing, takt time, time studies, and labor optimization.

• Designing and sustaining flexible and scalable plant layouts aligned with EHS and ergonomic standards.

• Improving manufacturing efficiency through OEE, labor efficiency, and capacity optimization initiatives.

• Leading Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks and eliminate waste (MUDA).

• Developing and deploying work instructions, visual management systems, and training materials.

• Tracking key operational metrics such as productivity, labor efficiency, and capacity utilization.

• Facilitating Kaizen events and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

We are looking for results-driven, analytical leaders with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering or manufacturing environments.

• Proven experience leading productivity or continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (Standard Work, line balancing, takt time, time studies).

• Experience in problem solving methodologies (Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, VSM).

• Experience managing projects with measurable operational results.

• Conversational to advanced English.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).

• Experience leading Industrial Engineering teams.

• Experience in layout design, capacity analysis, and headcount modeling.

• Knowledge of Lean tools such as SMED, Kanban, Pull Systems, Lean Logistics.

• Experience with A3, 8D, DMAIC, Poka-Yoke, and statistical analysis tools.
