About the role
As a CX Practitioner (Operational Excellence Leader), you will play a critical role in driving the plant’s productivity and operational performance. This position leads the deployment of Operational Excellence strategies, ensuring continuous improvement, process standardization, and efficiency across manufacturing operations. Your work will directly impact cost, quality, delivery, and employee engagement while supporting Carrier’s commitment to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a CX Practitioner (Operational Excellence Leader), you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and deploying the Operational Excellence (Opex) strategy across the plant.

  • Managing the productivity and continuous improvement project portfolio, ensuring delivery of targets, ROI, and timelines.

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the Industrial Engineering team.

  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency, including OEE and labor productivity.

  • Driving process standardization and sustaining continuous improvement systems through Lean methodologies.

Requirements
We are looking for people who are results‑driven, analytical, and strong leaders with a passion for continuous improvement. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • 2–3 years of experience leading productivity or continuous improvement projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools (VSM, Root Cause Analysis, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).

  • Experience managing projects with measurable outcomes (productivity, efficiency, cost savings).

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt).

  • Experience leading or developing Industrial Engineering teams.

  • Strong data analysis skills and experience using operational performance metrics (OEE, labor efficiency).
