Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Position Overview

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic role responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management. The HRBP acts as a consultant to management on human resource-related matters, serves as an employee advocate and change agent, and leads HR initiatives to support the company’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders and line managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals.

  • Work closely with COE teams to ensure effective practices in Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Total Rewards are executed, maintaining alignment with global and regional standards.

  • Provide expertise and support in workforce planning, organizational development, succession planning, and talent management.

  • Advise and coach managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution while upholding company policies and best practices.

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a workplace culture that reflects company values and industry standards.

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies that address evolving business needs.

  • Facilitate training and development programs that address technical and soft skills requirements, utilizing COE resources as appropriate.

  • Manage compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal processes to ensure competitiveness and fairness, working in partnership with the Total Rewards COE team.

  • Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness and drive transformation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a business partnering role.  Experience with MNC will be an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of local employment legislation and HR best practices.

  • Business acumen with the ability to translate organizational needs into HR solutions.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, especially in collaboration with COE teams.

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team in a dynamic environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
