About the role

Carrier is looking for talented and driven engineering graduates to join our Engineering Leadership Program (ELP). This competitive program is designed to accelerate your professional growth through hands-on experience, cross-functional exposure, and leadership development.

As part of the program, you will contribute to strategic projects across multiple business units while building strong technical and leadership capabilities in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Leadership Program Associate, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Participating in three eight-month rotations across different Carrier business units

  • Supporting innovation, design, and implementation of engineering solutions across systems, products, and technologies

  • Applying engineering principles to ensure compliance with specifications, regulatory requirements, and customer needs

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, global environment

  • Engaging in key initiatives such as product development, systems integration, and advanced technologies

  • Developing leadership capabilities through real, hands-on assignments and project ownership

Program Exposure

The program offers the opportunity to build technical and leadership skills within a professional, cross-functional environment. Participants will gain exposure to:

  • Agile methodologies

  • Change management

  • Customer engagement

  • Executive presence and communication

  • Project management

  • Product development and management

Program Structure

  • Three 8-month rotations across different business areas

  • Based in Santa Catarina, with potential rotations across different plants and leaders

  • Hands-on assignments designed to accelerate development

  • Mentorship from senior leaders and program alumni

  • Access to high-impact training and development opportunities

Requirements

We are looking for proactive, high-potential graduates with strong technical foundations and leadership ambition. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Software or related)

  • Graduation year 2025 or 2026

  • Availability to start in June 2026

  • Strong academic performance

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities

  • Advanced English level

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

  • Exposure to areas such as software, systems, electrical, mechanical, MBD, or chemical engineering

  • Interest in innovation, sustainability, and advanced technologies
