About the Role

As the Distribution Channel Management Supervisor, you will lead and support a team responsible for driving sales growth through effective channel and distribution partner management. In this role, you will build strong customer and partner relationships, support business development initiatives, and contribute to the execution of sales strategies. Your leadership will help optimize operational processes, strengthen channel performance, and expand business opportunities while ensuring exceptional customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

As a Distribution Channel Management Supervisor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Establishing professional relationships with prospects, customers, and distribution/channel partners to understand and address business needs.
  • Supervising and supporting Technical and Business Support employees while coordinating day-to-day distribution channel management activities.
  • Participating in sales and business development initiatives that support organizational growth strategies.
  • Identifying customer requirements and promoting appropriate products and services to expand the client base and increase sales opportunities.
  • Supporting the development of business proposals, bid opportunities, and customer presentations to secure new projects and contracts.
  • Maintaining long-term relationships with channel partners and customers to identify and influence future business opportunities.
  • Supporting operational planning, process improvements, and execution of channel management strategies.
  • Monitoring team performance, prioritizing workloads, and ensuring effective execution of business objectives.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are customer-focused, relationship-oriented, commercially driven, and capable of leading teams in a dynamic sales environment. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • University Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and specialized knowledge.
  • Experience in sales, distribution channel management, business development, or a related field.
  • Understanding of basic management practices, including scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process execution.
  • Strong relationship management and customer engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to support business development activities and sales growth initiatives.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience preparing bid responses, commercial proposals, or tenders.
  • Knowledge of channel sales strategies and partner relationship management.
  • Experience leading teams within a technical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
