About the role:

To lead the process engineering function, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing processes for air conditioning products. Responsible for continuous improvement, new product integration into production, and supporting cross-functional teams in achieving production goals.

Role Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for HVAC product assembly lines.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flows.
• Implement lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Collaborate with R&D, design, and production teams for smooth NPI.
• Support pilot runs and validates new process capabilities for new models or variants.
• Identify and evaluate manufacturing equipment needs, process automation, and tooling.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Ensure processes comply with quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for process-related issues and drive corrective actions.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance for process audits and CAPA.
• Lead initiatives for cycle time reduction, labor productivity, and energy efficiency.
• Analyze and control manufacturing cost drivers.
• Lead and mentor a team of process engineers and technicians.
• Provide training on process control, safety, and lean tools.

Role Purpose:

To lead the process engineering function, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing processes for air conditioning products. Responsible for continuous improvement, new product integration into production, and supporting cross-functional teams in achieving production goals.

Minimum Requirements:

• 8 to 15 years of total experience with relevant 8years into process engineering role.

Education: BE- Mechanical, production, Industrial engineering

Preferred Certifications:

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

• Lean Manufacturing Certification

• TPM, Kaizen, or TQM knowledge
