Production Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations and ensuring the achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) objectives. This role oversees production personnel, drives operational excellence, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in meeting production goals, improving productivity, reducing waste, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets are achieved.
• Lead, develop, and motivate production employees while fostering a safe, collaborative, and results-oriented work environment.
• Ensure daily production schedules are met and customer deliveries are completed on time.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Reduce scrap rates and improve manufacturing line productivity.
• Coordinate activities to resolve material and logistics issues that could impact production.
• Support production scheduling and workflow sequencing to optimize operational performance.
• Ensure all quality-related documentation and processes comply with established standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and support customer requirements.
• Participate in process innovation and manufacturing improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in production supervision within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing direct labor and leading production teams.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience monitoring and improving production KPIs.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and operational control.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple operational requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-oriented with a strong focus on productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
