PROCESS ENGINEER

About the Role
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of support and entry‑level engineers who design manufacturing processes and specifications. The role has a direct impact on improving efficiency, productivity, and quality across manufacturing operations, ensuring business objectives are met while delivering value to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising the activities of support and entry‑level engineers involved in the design of manufacturing processes and specifications.
• Participating in project implementations to ensure business objectives are achieved.
• Planning assembly line designs and material handling layouts.
• Coordinating activities related to operations sequencing and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment to ensure high‑quality product performance.
• Providing technical leadership in the development of statistical process control (SPC) manufacturing processes and driving continuous improvement.
• Participating in engineering design concepts and specification requirements to ensure optimal utilization of manufacturing equipment.
• Consulting with lines of business to adapt machine and equipment designs to factory and production standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Understanding of basic management approaches, including work scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process execution.
• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Specialized knowledge of technical or operational manufacturing practices.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate engineering teams.
• Experience participating in cross‑functional manufacturing or process improvement projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with statistical process control (SPC).
Knowledge of assembly line and layout design.
Prior experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
