Summary:

Manages a team of intermediate or experienced professionals in Project Engineering. Coordinates with administrative and operations staff, line managers, project engineering staff and customers. Identifies and reacts to project problems, recommends solutions, plans projects, and conducts project meetings. Acts as a point of contact with the customers.

Key Responsibilities 

Sustainability Reporting Operations: 

• Support reporting timelines, review cycles, and submission packaging across sustainability disclosures 

• Maintain organized data inputs and reuseable evidence packs that support sustainability disclosures, customer responses, and ratings submissions 

• Support responses to customer sustainability questionnaires and data requests using approved disclosures, evidence libraries, and standardized data sources 

• Track request timelines and ensure responses are consistent with existing public reporting 

• Maintain reporting documentation, including basis of preparation, reporting boundaries, assumptions, issue logs, and decision logs 

• Assist with ESG ratings and rankings cycles, including CDP and other priority assessments 

Process Coordination and Quality Control:

• Track reporting actions, open items, and decisions to ensure timely resolution 

• Identify operational risks or bottlenecks and escalate them appropriately  

• Support continuous improvement of reporting templates, workflows, and documentation practices 

• Maintain organized reference materials, summaries, and logs of investor and regulatory developments to support readiness planning and disclosure decisions 

• Provide operational support to the regulatory alignment, readiness workstreams, and disclosure planning 

• Support data quality checks and version alignment across internal and external sustainability outputs 

• Help identify recurring data gaps or inefficiencies and flag them to senior team members 

Internal Reporting and Dashboarding: 

• Support development and maintenance of internal sustainability dashboards and reporting views 

• Assist with data preparation and validation for internal performance tracking and management reporting 

• Help translate external stakeholder data needs into internal data structures and recurring metrics 

• Explore AI‑assisted approaches to surface trends, recurring issues, or insights from sustainability performance data and external request patterns 

• Contribute to the evolution of sustainability data processes from reactive requests to proactive performance management 

AI‑Enabled Process Automation:

• Support the transition from document‑based reporting to more streamlined, repeatable reporting processes 

• Support the responsible use of AI‑enabled tools to assist with reporting process efficiency, documentation management, information synthesis, and accelerate data collection and validation

• Build and maintain lightweight AI agents or automations to support recurring sustainability tasks

• Partner with senior team members to identify sustainability processes that are strong candidates for AI augmentation 

• Ensure AI‑supported outputs align with approved disclosures, data governance expectations, and reporting standards 

• Contribute operational insights to system enhancements and reporting automation initiatives 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, data analytics, business, environmental science, engineering or a related field 

• 3+ years experience in corporate reporting, sustainability reporting, audit support, or operational project management 

• Strong foundational skills in data management, analytics, and reporting tools

• Experience with ESG and business reporting systems such as Workiva and PowerBI or comparable platforms and how to apply them to data governance and disclosure requirements 

• Familiarity with AI‑enabled productivity tools or platforms (including simple AI agents or copilots) used for data analysis, document processing, or workflow automation 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and reporting standards.
