About the role:

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and installing various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, recommending solutions, and ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency of HVAC equipment especially in water-cooled and air-cooled chiller for commercial and industrial building.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • To handle after sales service market sales and achieve service sales target set by the company for central region.
  • To troubleshoot/problem solutions & equipment repairs
  • To connect chillers into Carrier Smart Service Platform and monitor Chiller performance
  • To prepare & write technical report
  • To attend to customers complaint & provide prompt service to meet customer satisfaction.
  • To assist Account Manager in handling operation related matters.
  • Carry out EH&S responsibilities & Job site inspection as required.
  • To meet sales and GM targets for Central region.
  • To ensure that the EHS job responsibilities are consistent with the company's requirements
  • Maintain and perform repair on all refrigeration equipment and perform troubleshoot on all HVAC equipment
  • Manage all allocated Service Sites and operate various Centrifugal, Screw & Reciprocating chillers and oversee all maintenance activities for various technicians.
  • Monitor all resources and ensure optimal utilization for same and achieve all customer objectives and provide support to all equipment and perform calculations and implement various plans for HVAC.
  • Evaluate all approval systems for new and revised maintenance jobs and monitor all work instructions and maintain all deliverables for projects to maintain optimal qualities within required timeframe and coordinate with stakeholders to analyze all project requirements.
  • Perform audit on all HVAC system and collect data and perform periodic evaluation and monitor all logbooks and manage all change processes and resolve all issues.
  • Record, establishing, reviewing and revising document control for Standard Work Instruction (SWI) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
  • Record, Compile, update and conduct trend analysis for training & meeting attendance, Vehicle Inspection, Audit & Inspection, EHS One Drive Documentation, reporting data, Safety Data Sheet, Audiometric testing arrangement and data entering.
  • Monitor and inspect PPE stock, order, request and distribution / shipping to branches and communication with supplier, full body harness and ladder, first aid inspection and replenish the items
  • Arrangement service tools annual inspection and perform tools calibrations (clamp meter, multimeter, ladder, chain block & GFCI) annually
  • Arrange Training, EHS event and meeting (Application & Registration, refreshment, and communication)
  • Prepare Audit and Inspection findings report & follow up (job site, PE audit, warehouse and etc)

Requirements:

  • Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical and HVAC 
  • Fresh graduate most welcome or 1 year working experience in relevant field.
  • Strong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles, components, and systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours and respond to emergency situations.
