About the role
As a Site PMO you are responsible for program health of all NPD programs at India Engg. Centre. You will directly be managing “AME Key Programs” identified at Carrier India as a Program Manager. For other NPD programs managed by Engg you will be responsible to have an oversight and guide program managers in PDP2.0 process adherence or help them in areas like risk mitigation. As dedicated program manager, you will manage NPD program communication and coordination, developing and defining baseline key performance metrics, defining investments, and schedules. You will spearhead key program updates and passport reviews with all levels of leadership. With focus on results, your goal is to deliver each program On-Spec, On-Time and Within Budget.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for NPD program execution including the below:
Program Leadership Defines the program goals, selects, develops the program & team and inspires
Planning & Organization Structures/staffs plan to meet program requirements
Program Schedule Creates a program schedule in alignment with the program team and optimizes it to reduce NPD time to market.
Process adherence Ensures adherence to Carrier PDP process in all functions for the program.
Business Judgment considers big picture, long term goals, & competing priorities
Risk Management Anticipates risks and creates a robust mitigation plan for each risk
Stakeholder management & influence Understands how to influence & sell the program internally to stakeholders. Escalates issues to senior leaders when required to get decisions.
Partnering Creates ownership to common goals in a collaborative way
Technical, Functional Acumen Understands limits of technology and program process
System Thinking Understands relationships between factors affecting structure/performance
Qualifications & Experience:
Engineering qualification is desired.
10+ years work experience. Project management experience is essential.
