Build a career with confidence

Carrier Global Corporation, global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is committed to creating solutions that matter—for people and for our planet—for generations to come. Since our beginning, we have led the industry by inventing new technologies and shaping new markets. Today, we continue to lead with a world‑class, diverse workforce that places the customer at the center of everything we do.

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist who will act as the Operations Finance partner for our Data Center business. In this role, you will join a dynamic environment and an FP&A team focused on continuous improvement as we transform our operating model.

You will work closely with finance leadership and business unit operations, supporting decision‑making for one of the most strategic and high‑visibility portfolios in the HVAC business. This role offers significant exposure across multiple business units and locations, while contributing directly to the financial analysis, reporting, and consolidation efforts of Data Center projects and applied factories.

If you thrive in a high‑performance environment, enjoy solving complex business problems, and are motivated by meaningful impact, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

As the FP&A Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the consolidation, analysis, and reporting of monthly actuals and forecasts for Data Center projects, including operating metrics, CIP, and ROI.
  • Preparing financial reviews and supporting presentations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborating with business units and project managers to explain monthly variances, including plan vs. prior estimate vs. risks & opportunities.
  • Developing financial models that support consolidation and analysis of actual and forecasted results.
  • Partnering with operations leaders to execute the business plan, prepare action plans, and support strategic recommendations.
  • Preparing ad-hoc analysis and project support as required by leadership.
  • Acting as a business partner to BUs, measuring performance and delivering insights that drive informed decisions.
  • Developing key reports for applied Ops to monitor attainment and operational efficiency.
  • Analyzing and interpreting financial and budgetary data to generate recommendations.
  • Preparing spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, and reports for financial reviews.
  • Leading Cx activities and actively participating in closing and forecast cycles.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are proactive, analytical, detail‑oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

As a minimum, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A.
  • Advanced English (capable of reading, writing, and presenting to leadership).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Availability to travel up to 10%.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP ERP, and familiarity with SmartView or similar reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience handling large volumes of data with high accuracy.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • A proactive, high‑energy personality with a goal‑oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Experience driving improvements, challenging processes, and enabling teams.

Benefits

We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs and enhancing them when necessary:

  • Health insurance for peace of mind for you and your family.
  • Professional development and opportunities to advance your career.
