About the role

As an Sr. Specialist FP&A, you will play a critical role as a finance business partner supporting one of Carrier’s businesses. Based in Monterrey, this position is responsible for managing P&L performance, cash flow, and key financial metrics, while leading planning, forecasting, and analysis activities. You will work closely with business leadership to provide insights, drive performance improvements, and support strategic decision‑making in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Sr. Specialist FP&A, you’ll be responsible for:

• Acting as a key finance business partner, working closely with business management and operations to drive financial performance improvements

• Monitoring financial performance by analyzing results and initiating corrective actions

• Overseeing the reporting of accurate and timely financial information for the assigned business

• Reviewing and analyzing key performance trends (orders, backlog, sales, margins, expenses) to identify risks and opportunities

• Providing technical financial expertise and guidance to business leadership teams

• Preparing ad‑hoc analysis and investigations to support decision‑making

• Promoting and reinforcing an ethical culture aligned with Carrier policies and procedures

• Driving a culture of continuous improvement across financial processes and performance management

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or other finance‑related roles

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis

• Advanced conversational English skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders

• Solid interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• P&L ownership experience

• SAP and HFM knowledge

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Ability to quickly adapt to new business models and changing environments

• Experience driving actionable insights and continuous improvement initiatives
