Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our global Transicold Development Team. This role focuses on the design and development of firmware for next-generation graphical display controllers used in advanced refrigeration systems.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in embedded systems, product development experience, and exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven expertise across the entire product development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to field deployment and support

• Experience working on complex embedded systems, including secure connectivity with external systems

• Strong technical knowledge in Embedded applications, RTOS-based system design, Device drivers, Communication protocols,16/32-bit microcontroller

• Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience in C/C++ programming

• Solid experience in embedded system design including systems, subsystems, interfaces, modules, and devices

• Hands-on experience with communication interfaces and peripherals, CAN, RS232, SPI, I2C, Timers, Graphics LCD, EEPROM and Flash drivers

• Experience using embedded modeling tools for design and analysis

• Hands-on experience in architecture, design, and documentation of embedded software systems

• Experience with board bring-up activities, including: Bare Bone Secure Boot/U-Boot, Root file systems, External peripheral interfacing

• Exposure to DSP interfaces and Cloud/IoT integration

• Expertise in shell scripting, open-source build environments, and toolchains

• Passion for learning new technologies and ability to quickly adapt to new tools and frameworks

• Strong team player with a highly motivated, action-oriented, and self-driven mindset, bringing a positive and proactive attitude

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of modern architectures such as cloud and distributed systems

• Working knowledge of architectural and modeling tools such as Rhapsody MATLAB / Simulink

• Basic programming knowledge in Python or other high-level languages, with middleware exposure

• Familiarity with Model-Based Design (MBD) approaches
