About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to perform on-site services, support product installations, and maintain equipment for new and existing clients. This role requires analyzing system data, diagnosing technical issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will work closely with customers and field teams to provide timely and effective service solutions.
Key Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
On-Site Service & Maintenance:
Perform equipment servicing, upgrades, and preventive maintenance for clients.
Diagnose and resolve moderate design/system-related issues.
Technical Analysis & Support:
Conduct technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements according to customer specifications.
Develop specialized product knowledge to support complex service requirements.
Customer Communication:
Communicate technical information effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Meet with customers daily or as required to ensure satisfaction and resolve outstanding issues.
Recommend system enhancements, upgrades, or repairs to improve client operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery and project completion.
Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
Minimum Requirements
Diploma Degree or equivalent, with advanced knowledge obtained through education and relevant work experience.
Minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience in field service or technical support.
Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems, with the ability to implement enhancements.
OR
Advanced degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple service tasks.
Customer-focused mindset and attention to detail.
Additional Information
Frequent face-to-face customer interaction is required.
