Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded leader to help shape and strengthen our Datacenters business strategy across Asia Pacific and the Middle East (AME). In this role, you will combine market insight, business planning, financial analysis, and operational improvement to develop strategies and processes which enable growth, improve execution, and help the business scale effectively. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to turn data and insight into clear prioritized actions, practical initiatives, and measurable results in a fast-changing market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve business performance: Review the end-to-end value chain and margins, identify bottlenecks, and lead improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, strengthen margins, and improve overall business performance.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives: Partner with teams across the business to deliver strategic programs that support growth, improve execution, and strengthen day-to-day operations.

  • Standardize and improve processes: Drive process improvement and standardization to create a more consistent, efficient, and customer-focused operating model across markets.

  • Provide market and competitive insight: Track datacenter market trends, customer needs, technology developments, and competitive activity to support business decisions and strategy development.

  • Support strategic projects: Turn analysis into action and help evaluate and deliver key business initiatives, including partnerships, transformation programs, and other priority projects.

  • Lead the planning cycle: Manage the annual and long-range planning process for the AME Datacenters business, including key planning and review milestones.

  • Shape long-term strategy: Partner with business leadership to develop three- to five-year plans that align market opportunities, customer needs, and business priorities.

  • Deliver insights for decision-making: Create clear analysis, recommendations, and presentations that help senior leaders make informed business decisions.

  • Strengthen reporting and visibility: Work with Finance, Sales Operations, and Digital teams to improve dashboards and reporting that support faster, better decisions.

  • Support bid management: Help build and improve the bid management approach for complex opportunities by introducing clear frameworks, coordination, and analysis.

  • Communicate business priorities: Develop clear communications that help teams understand the business direction, strategic priorities, and what success looks like.

  • Build strong stakeholder partnerships: Work effectively across functions and levels of the organization to align priorities, drive progress, and support business excellence.

Required Competencies & Qualifications

  • 10 – 12 years experiences in strategy, operational excellence, business planning, or a related field, ideally within technology, power electronics, infrastructure, or a similarly complex industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience working with data, financial analysis, and turning complex information into clear business recommendations.

  • Experience working across Asia Pacific and/or Middle East markets, with an understanding of regional business dynamics, customer needs, and market differences.

  • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams, including in environments where you do not have direct reporting authority.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field required. An MBA or other advanced business qualification is preferred.
