Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced Finance professional to join Carrier as the Senior Manager, Business Finance for Truck Trailer Americas (TTA). This role is based in Athens, GA, reporting to the CFO, Climate Solutions Transportation – Americas and will be a key member of the Americas Transportation Finance team.

The successful candidate will act as a strategic finance business partner to the TTA organization, collaborating closely with both business and finance stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading financial reporting and analytics, generating actionable financial insights, supporting strategic and commercial decision-making, driving business performance reviews, and ensuring strong alignment between operational priorities and financial outcomes.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead finance partner to business leadership, providing insight, challenge, and recommendations on performance, trade-offs, and key financial metrics.
  • Translate business strategy, pipeline, pricing, and execution plans into clear financial implications, supporting pricing, product mix, and backlog visibility.
  • Own forecasting, budgeting (annual and long term strategy), and performance management across sales, profit, functional costs (SG&A, R&D, etc.), including variance analysis, modeling, and management reporting.
  • Develop and own sales, margin, and EBIT roadmaps, supported by robust financial models and variance analysis.
  • Weekly monitoring of orders, coverage and overall business performance to ensure the business is tracking toward quarterly targets; keep senior leadership updated through weekly profit assurance meetings.
  • Partner cross-functionally on business cases for new product launches, R&D programs, and investment prioritization, while supporting annual strategic and operating plans and driving continuous improvement.
  • Cash Flow & Governance: Drive cash flow and working capital planning, ensuring clear assumptions, forecast accuracy, and alignment with business model & corporate goals.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting / finance / business administration / economics / commerce (with a concentration in finance).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, of which 5+ years in FP&A.
  • 5+ years experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • 5+ years experience with Excel, financial modeling, cost/pricing and working capital analysis.
  • 2+ years experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management).

Preferred Qualifications: (nice to have):

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience with US GAAP.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • Ability to navigate a dynamic financial environment and influence actionable decisions.
  • Experience in building dashboards, data visualizations, and delivering clear, impactful presentations to senior leadership
  • Experience with JDE, SAP S/4HANA preferred

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.

Pay Range:

The annual salary for this position is $146,750–$205,250.  Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
