Build a career with confidence
Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is committed to creating solutions that matter for people and our planet for generations to come. From the beginning, we've led in inventing new technologies and entirely new industries. Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do.

About the role

As the Sr. FP&A Manager, you will drive global excellence in product costing, inventory management, and material variance analysis across three commercial manufacturing sites. This role plays a critical part in strengthening Carrier’s cost competitiveness—delivering deep product cost insights, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), and enabling fact‑based operational and strategic decisions through strong financial controls and cross‑functional partnership.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sr. FP&A Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the annual standard cost rollup across three commercial factories, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with corporate guidelines
• Analyzing product cost structures—labor, overhead, and materials—to support pricing, margin improvement, and operational decisions
• Serving as the cost accounting lead for NPI programs, delivering cost estimates, cost‑builds, and financial risk assessments throughout the product lifecycle
• Overseeing inventory accounting, balance sheet controls, and material variance analysis while ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Partnering cross‑functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, FP&A, and factory leadership to drive cost transparency, productivity, and continuous improvement

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, proactive, and collaborative leaders with a continuous‑improvement mindset. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in cost accounting or manufacturing finance, preferably in a global or multi‑site environment
• Strong expertise in standard costing, inventory accounting, and material variance analysis
• Experience supporting NPI, engineering changes, and cross‑functional manufacturing initiatives
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel/analytics tools

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
• CPA, CMA, or MBA
• Experience driving process standardization, automation, or digital finance tools
• Background partnering closely with Engineering, Procurement, or Supply Chain teams

Benefits

We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees, and enhancing our programs when necessary.
• Have peace of mind and body with our health insurance
• Drive forward your career through professional development opportunities
