About the role

As a Delivery Assurance Specialist, you will manage tracking and shipping processes to ensure day-to-day delivery assurance objectives are met. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing solutions and process improvements for shipment and supplier issues to guarantee on-time delivery, minimize negative business impacts during shortages, and directly support customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

As a Delivery Assurance Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Supplier Monitoring & Risk Mitigation: Track the flow of critical parts through supplier manufacturing shops, from raw materials to final shipment, ensuring timely delivery of all materials required for the production of assigned complex components.

  • Root Cause Analysis & Recovery: Identify causes of delivery delays and implement recovery plans to bring shipments back in line with customer requirements.

  • Expediting & Reporting: Monitor production operations, track part delivery status in real-time, and provide daily status reports to stakeholders.

  • Process Improvement & Delivery Systems: Implement solutions and process improvements for shipments, coordinate sub-process suppliers, and deploy delivery assurance systems to ensure early identification of shortages.

  • Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build relationships with suppliers to solve logistics crises and collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements and minimize negative impacts during shortages.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are proactive problem-solvers, detail-oriented, and excellent relationship builders. If this is you, get in touch. As a minimum you must have:

  • University Degree or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience (OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience).

  • Practical to substantial knowledge of organizational structures, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage them in daily work.

  • Solid experience in tracking/shipping processes, managing delivery assurance, and coordinating with sub-process suppliers.

  • Experience identifying opportunities for improving manufacturing processes and quality assurance standards.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience handling technical assistance for delivery assurance within the climate and energy solutions sector.

  • Proven track record of managing critical logistics crises and developing rapid deployment recovery plans.

  • Advanced experience in real-time status reporting and daily stakeholder management.

Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package that may include other benefits and well‑being programs. Offerings vary by role and location and are designed to support employees’ health, security, and success.
