About this role

Riello North America has an opening for a Financial Analyst (FP&A & Accounting) reporting to the Finance Manager. The Financial Analyst (FP&A & Accounting) must be detail oriented and an excellent communicator. The Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A & Accounting) works closely with other members of the team to ensure key reporting deadlines are met, reports are accurate and complete.

This is an onsite role in Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders to develop annual budgets and forecasts, consolidating inputs into comprehensive financial plan.
  • Analyze budget and forecast variances, providing clear explanations of performance drivers and recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing, providing detailed reports on individual sales team members performance against objectives and periodic price increases and analysis
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reporting and compliance activities to support management and operational needs.
  • Maintain and review inventory costing calculations, including setting intercompany transfer pricing for goods supplied to related parties.
  • Support the month-end closing process.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or finance.
  • 5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting designation or active enrollment in a recognized accounting program (CPA, CMA, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of accounting/finance principles (GAAP/IFRS) and operational finance
  • Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tool
  • Proficient in MS applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Hyperion (HFM) and SAP experience
  • Attention to details, accuracy and analytical skills
  • Effective English written and verbal communication skills
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills and team oriented

Additional information

  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada. No visa sponsoring available

Pay Range

The expected base salary range for this role is between $71,500 and $121,500. The rate of pay may be impacted by factors such as the applicant’s geographic location, market data/range, skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and/or other relevant considerations.​

This compensation includes components such as base salary, vacation pay, public holiday pay, potential estimated overtime pay and paid statutory leaves of absence. Additional benefits may include insured benefits such as health care, vision, dental, disability, etc., as well as possible RRSP matching.​

Other Compensation

This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive.  If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.

Use of AI

Technology-enabled tools may support parts of the recruitment process, with oversight by people.
