Carrier’s Digital Sales and Serve (DSS) Center of Excellence (COE)team is enabling higher digital customer experience capabilities throughout the enterprise. This person will collaborate and work closely with the DSS COE product, engineering, and implementation teams to meet roadmap and new commitments. This role will play a key part in optimizing Carrier’s Salesforce development and deployment processes using Copado, an industry-leading release management platform. This person will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of Salesforce solutions, enhance automation, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our release cycles.

Primary Responsibilities  

• Configure and manage Copado environments, including the setup of pipelines, release processes, and version control integrations to ensure efficient and accurate deployments.

• Work closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and business analysts to support the development lifecycle, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD). 

• Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts and processes using Copado to streamline and improve the efficiency of our release management processes. 

• Monitor deployment processes and workflows to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to development and production environments. 

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps. Provide regular updates and reports on release metrics and performance. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, provide technical support, and contribute to solution design and implementation. 

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to optimize release management workflows. 

Key Skills 

• Experience working on global, multi-year initiatives with cross-functional teams. 

• Proficiency in configuring and managing Copado environments, including setting up pipelines and release processes. 

• Solid understanding of Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, as well as experience with version control systems like Git. 

• Experience in developing and maintaining automated deployment scripts and processes to enhance release management efficiency. 

• Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills. 

• Business owner mentality, willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary. 

• Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic. 

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field

• 5+ years of professional supporting enterprise-level engineering teams. 

• 5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration or development, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Copado or similar release management tools.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Agile methodologies in a working environment – demand prioritization, planning, and execution to deliver software solutions. 

• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills 

• Fluent spoken and written English 

Preferred 

• Master’s degree and/or similar secondary degree. 

• Experience working with multicultural, multilingual, and multiple time zone, global environments 

• The ability to simplify the complex, quickly define core problem and frame the solution approach 

• Experience in industrial/manufacturing software segments 

• Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification is preferred. Copado certification is a plus.
