Role Purpose

The Sales Manager for the Lowrise and Modern Trade Channel leads a team of intermediate to experienced sales professionals to deliver sustainable revenue growth across assigned lowrise and modern trade customer segments. The role sets clear objectives, drives commercial execution, strengthens customer relationships, and ensures operational excellence to achieve strategic sales goals. This leader provides guidance across day-to-day sales operations, supports account strategy development, leverages data-driven insights, and promotes collaboration across cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives for Lowrise and Modern Trade channels.
  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets aligned to organizational strategy and guide the team on execution plans.
  • Develop and strengthen customer relationships with modern trade partners, distributors, and key lowrise accounts.
  • Lead negotiations, review trade terms, and ensure execution of promotional activities and in-store programs.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and channel performance to recommend strategic actions.
  • Monitor sales forecasts, pipeline performance, and operational KPIs to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to support product launches, pricing decisions, inventory readiness, and customer engagement activities.
  • Guide the team on implementing sales processes, tools, and CRM systems to enhance productivity and data accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and operational guidelines across all sales activities.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build capability and improve performance.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvement and contribute to mid-term sales strategy development.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in consumer products (Home appliances) through modern trade accounts.
  • Proven experience managing a sales team with responsibility for revenue delivery.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management, and channel development.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to interpret sales data and convert insights into action plans.
  • Excellent communication, people leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with sales systems, CRM tools, and reporting platform
