About the role
The Customer Data Products Leader is a senior leadership role responsible for defining Carrier’s customer data products, with a focus on aligning the high-impact data products that power the HVAC partners digital ecosystem.
This role operates at the intersection of data, digital product management, customer experience, and enterprise architecture, ensuring that customer, dealer, distributor, and service data are unified into a governed, actionable foundation.
The leader will drive the creation of Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Master Data Management (MDM) capabilities, enabling personalized experiences, advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, and seamless integration across Salesforce, SAP, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Data Strategy & Product Ownership
- Lead the Customer Data Product strategy, including CDP, MDM, and 360-customer data capabilities across HVAC partners.
- Establish a single source of truth for customer, distributor, dealer, and service data, aligned to enterprise data architecture.
- Own the data product roadmap, prioritization, and delivery aligned to business value, digital ecosystem strategy, and revenue growth opportunities.
- Define clear data product use cases including personalization, segmentation, case optimization, forecasting, and AI-powered recommendations.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
- Partner with Digital, Customer Service, Commercial, Marketing, Sales, and Operations leadership to align data products to business outcomes.
- Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and digital/data teams, including IT, product, analytics, AI/automation, and external partners.
- Influence and align leadership on data governance, investment priorities, and platform decisions.
AI & Personalization Enablement
Enable AI-powered use cases leveraging customer data, including:
- Predictive service insights
- Next-best action recommendations
- Lead scoring and targeting
- Drive the integration of AI/automation into customer journeys and service workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 + years in digital, data, and/or digital product leadership roles.
- 5+ years leading enterprise data initiatives, CDP/MDM programs, and/or data product teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Data & Digital Expertise
- Deep experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP), MDM, or enterprise data product development.
- Strong understanding of customer data models, identity resolution, and data integration patterns.
- Experience with Salesforce, SAP, and enterprise data ecosystems.
- Familiarity with AI/ML use cases, data-driven personalization, and analytics platforms.
- Product & Program Leadership
- Proven experience leading data product strategy and execution at scale.
- Strong background in Agile product management, roadmap planning, and backlog prioritization.
- Proven experience working successfully across business and digital delivery teams to deliver defined product scope
- Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions.
- Business & Strategic Acumen
- Strong understanding of customer experience, service operations, and omnichannel digital ecosystems.
- Ability to connect data strategy to tangible business outcomes (growth, efficiency, CX).
- Experience balancing business value, technical feasibility, and cost considerations.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
- Executive-level communication skills with the ability to drive alignment across senior stakeholders.
- Experience delivering cross-functional, enterprise-scale data transformations
- Change leadership mindset with a track record of driving adoption of data-driven capabilities

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.Benefits
