About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to drive cost reduction initiatives, manage supplier sourcing activities, and develop procurement strategies that support business objectives. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize costs, enhance supplier performance, and ensure supply continuity while maintaining quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and lead cost reduction initiatives to achieve annual savings targets.
• Manage RFQ/RFP activities, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and market assessments to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Develop and manage supplier performance, including corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mitigate supply risks through sourcing strategies, safety stock planning, buffer stock management, and VMI programs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support sourcing and cost optimization projects.
• Monitor supplier competitiveness, quality, delivery, and overall performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and sourcing practices.
• Support supplier development and relationship management activities.
• Prepare sourcing reports, cost-saving analyses, and procurement performance updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Purchasing, Procurement, or Supplier Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, cost analysis, and negotiation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, appliance, electronics, or industrial manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of supplier development, cost reduction, and value engineering methodologies.
• Experience managing RFQ/RFP processes and commercial negotiations.
• Familiarity with inventory management, supply risk mitigation, and VMI programs.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global manufacturing environment.
