About the role 

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Country Sales Lead to drive the growth of our Residential and Commercial HVAC business in Belgium and covering the residential and commercial segments for the brands Carrier, CIAT & Viessmann.  You will be responsible for leading and developing the commercial activities for Carrier across Belgium with the Carrier/Viessmann sales team.   

You will manage operational performance, accelerate pipelines & orders of growth, and lead a high-performing sales team. You will oversee all related management functions, drive business growth, support representatives in the field, and ensure strong customer satisfaction and market expansion. 

This position plays a key role in bridging field sales operations, marketing and after-market teams—ensuring alignment across business objectives, commercial results, and market needs. 

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Management 

  • Manage the Carrier/Viessmann Belgium sales team for the Residential & Commercial segment 
  • Drive growth through Synergies with residential & commercial portfolio and sales team. 
  • Define objectives, KPIs, action plans and monitor performance. 
  • Handle problem resolution, coaching, team engagement. 
  • Support sales representatives in daily operations, project management, and strategic decisions. 

Commercial Strategy & Business Development 

  • Build and maintain key account relationship including top-to-top meetings  
  • Lead customer acquisition and retention efforts, including regular customer visits. 
  • Analyse customer expectations and market dynamics to identify opportunities. 
  • Organize annual sales reviews, commercial forecasts, and strategic objectives for the region. 
  • Collaborate with supply chain management to develop accurate sales forecasts, product needs analyses, and contribute to new product development of marketed brands. 

Event & Relationship Management 

  • Organize and host customer events, including technical and commercial presentations. 
  • Ensure consistent follow‑up of meetings at all internal and external levels. 

Technical Expertise 

  • You will rely on technical knowledge in HVAC and related systems, including: 
  • Ability to evaluate & provide system solutions to key stakeholders   
  • Hydraulic solutions for boiler rooms (distributions, heat pumps, refrigeration units). 
  • Air-conditioning systems (air side). 

Requirements 

  • Extensive experience in Belgium HVAC residential & commercial segment with proven experience in sales, key account and project management. 
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing sales teams and large key account relationships 
  • Customer-oriented approach with strong analytical capabilities to drive breakthrough performance through structured & strategic growth Initiatives. 
  • Pragmatic mindset with strong organizational skills for services, exhibitions, and operational activities. 
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed corporate environment. 

Languages 

French, Dutch, and English fluency required.
