About the role
The UK/NL Regional Sales Manager will help build and grow our business by developing, growing and supporting our sales channel partners, integrators, EPCs and direct customers, as well as key influencers such as consulting engineers and specifiers. Additionally, it would include developing and executing sales strategies for assigned region and accounts, and monitoring and reporting results against plan to colleagues and senior management on a regular basis.
This position reports directly to the Europe/Africa Regional Sales Director, collaborating with other Det-Tronics/Autronica business leaders, including product management, operations, finance, engineering, and marketing. The position will also interact with other Carrier IFPS (Industrial Fire Products & Solutions) Business Units, actively looking for opportunities where potential cross selling among BU’s is possible to strengthen our offering to the customers.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Regional Sales Manager UK, you’ll be responsible for:
- Drive business growth and expansion into assigned region/channel and accounts for new, existing base and upgrade opportunities, working closely with other Regional Sales Managers, channel partners, marketing and other internal stakeholders
- Territory responsibilities: UK, The Netherlands and domestic EPC accounts
- Support execution of sales objectives to achieve KPIs, including sales reporting, analytics, pipeline management, and bid preparation to drive growth in identified markets.
- Manage complex project pursuits from discovery to close Advise, coach and assist sales channels in their sales pursuit activities
- Actively take part in and develop opportunities across different IFPS BU’s, making sure to maximize the F&G offering to our customers.
- Develop and maintain a strong relationship with customers by reinforcing quality, continuous innovation and solution-selling
Requirements
As a minimum you must have knowledge and experience on the below area’s:
- Strong selling/ logical thinking skills along with judgment to make strategic decisions; Experience with large project sales initiatives and proposal development
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally
- Self-motivated with the ability to follow-up on issues and progress in order to meet leadership expectations
- Excellent written, verbal skills, and a passion for continuous improvement
- Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Experience working cooperatively and respectfully on multicultural/cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of how to present ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision makers
- Experience working on multiple projects while following up on issues and progress reports in order to drive projects to completion
- Comfortable and able to travel in order to meet business needs
- Strong organization and time management; Can work creatively in an ambiguous environment
- Experience and/or truly interested in gaining experience with Autronica and Det-Tronics products and system integration practices or related industry, including other IFPS Business Units
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- Experience with Salesforce, JDE and other tools as used by the BU’s
