About the role 

The Project Manager will oversee the end-to-end management of innovation related projects, focusing on innovation processes, milestone preparation, resource and cost tracking, purchase requisitions & orders. This role requires a strong grasp of general accounting principles, effective time-tracking methodologies, and proficiency in Planisware for project creation and management.

Key responsibilities

Innovation and Milestone Preparation:

• Lead innovation processes, ensuring that milestones are well-defined and met within the project timeline.

• Organize and facilitate milestone meetings, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

Project Accounting and Time Tracking:

• Maintain accurate records of project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints. Track in Excel & Ariba.

• Create and manage projects using Planisware, ensuring data integrity and streamlined project workflows. Use time-tracking systems to monitor project progress and resource allocation.

Procurement and Financial Management:

• Manage and oversee the generation and tracking of purchase orders and invoices.

• Ensure timely processing and accurate documentation of all procurement transactions.

• Collaborate with the finance department to align project budgets and expenses.

• Provide training and support to team members on Planisware functionalities as needed

Requirements

• Bachelors’ degree Engineering / Administration or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects through the full project lifecycle, particularly in engineering and global setting.

• Strong background in supplier development and financial management for projects.

• Proficiency in project management software, preferably Planisware

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

• Knowledge of general accounting practices and budget management.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have

• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).

• Experience in an innovation driven environment.

• Familiarity with Ariba & Planisware implementation and advanced features.

• Occasional travel may be necessary for supplier or project site visits.
