About the role

Established Software Engineering professional. Conducts tests, debugs control and diagnostic systems, and conducts research. Measures and analyzes software designs, implements procedures to support hardware and software product development, and operates equipment. 

Role Purpose:

 Engineering data analyst supports the global sustainability engineering team for product sustainability reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems to accurately calculate and analyze the environmental impact of Carrier’s product portfolio. The analyst will work closely with Carrier’s Corporate Sustainability team to ensure the accuracy of publicly disclosed sustainability data..

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and consolidate product data from various sources and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement processes to maintain data integrity.
• Manage emission calculations, methods, and models for scope 3 emissions.
• Perform basic energy and emission calculations using Python and Excel.
• Analyze product and emission data to identify anomalies and patterns.
• Maintain thorough documentation of emission calculation methods, data processes, pipelines, and data models.
• Collaborate with other data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.

Requirements

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience
Practical knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work
University Degree or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
