About the role:

Highly experienced Chiller product-based application engineer and the designer to work with the global teams and providing the end-to-end application engineering and design specific responsibilities.

Role Responsibilities:

Good understanding of various types of chillers & competition offerings in market.

Experience of selection and integration of key components like compressor, Copper tubes, Economizer, Thermal design of flooded & DX type heat exchanger, oil separator etc.

Responsible for meeting Application Engineering requirements for Chillers covering Enquiry Quotation process, technical selections, compliance statements & Technical submittals meeting the project schedule.

Coordinate with Sales & Design Centers/manufacturing locations to address any Non standard requirements.

Support factory witness test of chiller at R&D Center/Manufacturing location. Test, Optimize, qualify the product as per applicable standards (IS16590, AHRI 550/551 etc) and Chiller BEE labelling. Exposure to chiller controls and troubleshooting.

Aftermarket support & good understanding on chiller RRCA.

Supporting others in Application engineering with technical guidance for selecting right product & solution for the project.

Keeping a track of the projects, status and report out on monthly basis.

Role Purpose:

End to end responsibility of Chiller requirement for Data Center Project includes chiller selection, technical compliance, FOK/FWT, Commissioning & aftermarket support.

Experience Required:

At least +10years of experience working in the HVAC Industry in the Chiller Design or application engineering domain.

Minimum Requirements: BE/B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent)
