About this role

As a Graphic Engineer – Drafting Services & Product Definition, you will be tasked with creating digital artwork for inclusion in building automation software. Graphics play a crucial role as the interface between customers and the operational aspects of their buildings.

The Graphic Engineer – Drafting Services & Product Definition will be working remotely, and preference will be given to candidates close to Kennesaw Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

• Create concise graphical representations of project floor plans and mechanical equipment
• Interpret mechanical and other equipment drawings submitted by customers
• Meet project schedules and assist others in meeting project schedules
• Collaborate with and provide input to stakeholders on libraries, processes, and potential improvements to our offerings
• Provide procedure development input to ensure consistency and completeness of the work in executing specific graphic tasks
• Keep Customer(s)/Graphic Project Coordinator informed of questions, progress, non-standard application requirements, discrepancies in graphic submittal packages, and other issues impacting design and schedules

Basic Qualifications

• Associate degree, or Technical/Business School Certificate
• 3+ years experience in graphical design or drafting
• 2+ years experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Microsoft 365 applications or equivalent
• CAD
• English written and verbal communication skills
• Learn new software quickly
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely completion
