About the role

As a Sr. Category Manager, you will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for key commodities, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and long-term value creation. This role plays a critical impact on business results by owning supplier relationships, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring procurement supports new product development and operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Category Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the development and execution of category/commodity strategies aligned with business and manufacturing goals

• Owning commercial negotiations, supplier selection, and contract management to drive cost savings and value

• Managing strategic supplier relationships through formal SRM processes to improve quality, delivery, and innovation

• Driving sourcing initiatives including RFx processes, cost reduction, consolidation, and continuous improvement projects

• Partnering with cross-functional teams (Engineering, NPD, Operations) to support new product development and sourcing decisions

Requirements

We are looking for people who are strategic, analytical, results-driven, and strong negotiators with leadership capabilities. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement

• 5+ years of experience in Category/Commodity Management

• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost management (TCO)

• Ability to lead projects and influence cross-functional stakeholders

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments

• Exposure to global sourcing and supplier management

• Experience working with NPD (New Product Development) teams
