About the role
As an Import & Export Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials across our global supply chain. You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, maintain compliance with international trade regulations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in Mexico and the United States to ensure on-time deliveries and operational excellence. Your work will directly support business continuity, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
As an Import & Export Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
Coordinate domestic and international import and export shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Review and validate international trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, Bills of Lading (BOL), and Air Waybills (AWB).
Monitor critical material shipments, resolve transportation and customs issues, and proactively mitigate supply chain disruptions.
Maintain accurate logistics information in SAP and other systems while preparing logistics reports and performance metrics.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, service, productivity, process optimization, and cost reduction.

As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, import/export operations, or supply chain.
Knowledge of IMMEX Program, Annex 24, and Annex 30 regulations.
Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency with the ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based teams.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience leading Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge of international transportation and customs brokerage processes.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment with global supply chain operations.
