About the role
As a Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring the continuous supply of direct materials required for manufacturing operations. In this position, you will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to monitor inventory levels, manage purchasing activities, and support new product initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to operational continuity, supply chain efficiency, and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Buyer, you’ll be responsible for:
Ensuring the timely supply of direct materials to support production and operational requirements.
Monitoring inventory levels and material coverage to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages.
Following up on key supply chain processes such as SOTD, ECN, ETO, E&O, GRNI and virtual inventory transactions.
Managing excess and obsolete inventory while supporting cost control and material optimization initiatives.
Coordinating with suppliers to schedule, expedite, or adjust deliveries to meet demand and support operational KPIs.
Requirements

As a minimum you must have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or materials planning.
Experience managing supplier communications and coordinating deliveries.
Ability to monitor inventory levels, analyze data and support supply continuity.
Conversational English skills.
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Knowledge of ERP systems used in supply chain or purchasing operations.
Experience supporting new product introductions or cross-functional supply chain projects.
