The role

The Supplier Management Specialist drives supplier performance improvements by increasing Supplier OTD from 80% to 95%, reducing replenishment lead times, and improving supplier quality indicators. The role focuses on performance monitoring, structured reviews, RFQ optimization, and supplier segmentation to support operational and customer service objectives

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to support divisional activities and growth

• Manage a portfolio of suppliers, ensuring compliance with pricing, costs, and delivery lead times

• Conduct ad hoc negotiations and manage price requests, including analysis of price lists, gaps, and increases

• Maintain and administer supplier master data in SAP/ERP, ensuring data accuracy and completeness

• Consolidate and capitalize Purchasing information, including documentation and regulatory compliance (CE, REACH, RoHS)

• Produce regular reporting on purchasing activities and performance

Profile  

• Master’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management, with strong negotiation and performance management skills

• Solid background in industrial and/or aftermarket supply chains

• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

• Strong proficiency in Excel; knowledge of macros is a plus

• Fluent in English (written, read, and spoken)
