About this role

As the Dallas, TX Operations Manager at Automated Logic, you will play a pivotal role in managing projects and leading operational teams to ensure the successful delivery of building management solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the execution of projects, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations and align with the company's strategic goals. You will be tasked with managing day-to-day operations, providing direction to project managers and supervisors, and ensuring that the operations team is well-equipped to meet planned deliverables.

This role requires a high level of multitasking and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving operational excellence and customer satisfaction. In this position, you will be responsible for the operations plan achievement of ALC Dallas, which includes directing revenue forecasting activities and setting performance standards in alignment with assigned KPIs. A key aspect of your role will be to recruit and develop a skilled team, including Project Managers, Field Engineer Supervisors, and Field Engineers. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement by providing coaching and training on project management techniques to help your team achieve their targets

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure team compliance with all EH&S procedures and promote a culture to lead with safety
  • Lead regular backlog reviews with project managers
  • Lead and direct day-to-day operational teams to meet and exceed planned deliverables.
  • Responsible for operations plan achievement of ALC Chicago.
  • Direct revenue forecasting activities and set performance standards in alignment with assigned KPIs and ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Partner with Sales Managers to review sales estimates for accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other areas and nationally based operations leaders to leverage best practices and achieve company objectives around execution.
  • Recruit Project Managers, supervisors, and field engineers with the appropriate skills and competencies.
  • Lead resource planning to ensure timely execution of projects
  • Lead office logistics including warehouse, inventory, and fleet management
  • Ensure the operations team receives coaching and training on project management techniques.
  • Establish and develop professional relationships with strategic prospects to understand and meet customer needs.
  • Conduct regular 'ride along' sessions with employees to coach, mentor, and meet with key clients.
  • Administer, communicate, and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years' Project Management Experience in Building Automation
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Management experience with a focus on multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Project Management Professional Certificate or other relevant certification.
  • Experience working within a construction environment.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies to grow business profitability and market share.
  • Analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A positive outlook with an ability to motivate and empower.
  • Adaptable to changing work environments.

Pay Range

The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Other Compensation

This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
