About the role

As an SAP CPI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions across Carrier’s digital ecosystem, connecting SAP S/4HANA Cloud and on-premise systems.

In this role, you will enable secure, scalable, and high-performance integrations supporting critical business processes, playing a key role in enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As an SAP CPI Developer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and optimizing SAP CPI iFlows for seamless SAP S/4HANA Cloud and on-premise integrations.

• Implementing and configuring adapters such as OData, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, AS2, and AMQP.

• Managing security artifacts including PGP, OAuth, certificates, and key management.

• Troubleshooting and resolving SAP CPI integration issues across environments.

• Implementing B2B and B2C integration solutions, including EDI mappings.

• Ensuring compliance with integration security protocols such as OAuth, SSL, and SAML.

• Supporting API-based and event-driven integration architectures.

• Participating in integration design discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Staying current with SAP CPI capabilities, best practices, and enhancements.

Requirements

We are looking for highly skilled, analytical professionals with strong experience in enterprise SAP integrations. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI.

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and on-premise integration strategies.

• Expertise in SAP Integration Suite and SAP Cloud Connector.

• Deep knowledge of integration protocols (REST, SOAP, OData) and data formats (XML, JSON, CSV).

• Hands-on experience with EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, AS2).

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Groovy scripting for integration logic.

• Experience with API management and event-driven architectures.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

• Advanced English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Experience with SAP PI and PO.
