About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our software and firmware products. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your experience and grow in a supportive and collaborative environment, working closely with experienced Scrum teams on system-level, regression, and performance testing.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you’llbe responsible for: 

• Collaborate with Scrum teams to understand product features and requirements, contributing to clear and concise testing objectives.

• Design and implement system-level tests to verify functionality across various software and firmware components.

• Conduct regression testing to identify any potential issues after changes or updates to software and firmware.

• Perform performance testing to evaluate system behaviors under various conditions and loads.

• Analyze test results, document bugs, and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

• Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

• Participate actively in Scrum meetings and provide updates on QA progress and challenges.

• Develop and implement automated testing tools and frameworks.

• Adhere to industry standards and company QA best practices.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 2 - 4 years of experience in software and firmware quality assurance.

• Experience with Postman

• Proficient in system testing, regression testing, and performance testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Interest on automated testing tools and scripting languages.
