Job Title – Workday Integration Developer

Preferred Location: Hyderabad, India

Full time/Part Time - Full Time

The Digital Hub India Team at Carrier seeks a dynamic Workday Integration Developer to propel our innovations forward. As part of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integrations between Workday and other systems within the organization. You’ll craft, test, and deploy advanced integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB). You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Workday’s integration tools and technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of Workday’s data model, business processes, and integration capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create technical design specifications for integrations.
  • Configure and develop technical integrations using Workday Studio, Workday RaaS Integrations, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Complex Calculated Fields, Web Services, Workday Custom Reports, XSLT, XPath, and other relevant tools.
  • Perform unit and system integration tests to ensure quality.
  • Deploy and provide ongoing support for all Workday integrations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess requirements and define functional specifications.
  • Review designs and document integration processes and workflows.
  • Manage Workday Integration analysis, system configurations, and deployment to production environments.
  • Monitor and maintain interfaces between Workday and internal/external vendors for smooth operations.
  • Participate in Workday semi-yearly release reviews and testing, identifying enhancement opportunities and ensuring compatibility with new features/functionality.
  • Provide production support for incident management related to integrations and ongoing integration monitoring as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Workday HCM, including report writing, integrations, and complex projects in HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
  • Proven experience with highly complex integrations between HR, Payroll, Benefits Partners using Workday tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday Studio Development, Workday EIB, RaaS, and Web Services, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, Java, with a preference for experience in BIRT. Integration design and testing concepts, integration frameworks (e.g., middleware, transformation logic).
  • Familiarity with data conversion concepts and their impacts on business processes (e.g., Workday iLoads).
  • Knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle, including production support and Agile methodologies.
  • Good to have Studio Integration Certification and integration certification (e.g., CCTPP, CCB, Fin Int).
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on documentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in diverse, virtual teams, showcasing strong organizational and multitasking skills with a sense of urgency.
