About this role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to create a cutting-edge, high caliber training program for field service Technicians. This program will be the first and most important experience that new and existing technicians have with Carrier. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge and applied experience in project management, the ability to assess complex business issues and demonstrated results.  The candidate will possess excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Role Responsibilities

  • Define core deliverables, scale, and scope of a new technician academy leveraging the outcome of a recent corporate wide process improvement event. The academy includes training and external partnerships to provide a candidate pipeline for our key locations

  • Create and maintain the full project plan(s) including key milestones, identifying interdependencies, and ensuring potential risks are identified

  • Clearly identify resource requirements, including staffing, funding, digital technology, target locations, best practices, and partnership programs

  • Secure leadership buy-in on all aspects of the plan

  • Lead the implementation of the project plan(s), ensuring on-time completion of all milestones and deliverables

  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, risk, and status on key deliverables

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status

  • Align closely with training staff to ensure training content and resources are sustainable

  • Bring-in expertise to ensure the technician academy is cutting-edge, digitally enabled and optimized to deliver maximum value

  • Post-implementation, program manage external partnership programs and technician early career development

  • Operate in a fast-paced environment and be highly responsive with short turnaround times

  • Create presentation content for executive level reviews.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in Program or Project Management or Operations or Strategic Operations or Business Transformation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert to mastery knowledge obtained through advanced education, combined with experience

  • Advanced knowledge of related disciplines within work area and able to identify links and potential impact on projects, programs and systems

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Monday.com, Microsoft Project)

  • Knowledge of training, learning and development

  • Applied experience in field service

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Proficient at storytelling and presentations to an executive audience

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to assess complex business issues and drive improvement

  • Engage at all levels of the organization, tactical and strategic

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus

  • Prior experience in a consulting environment is a plus

Pay Range:

$109,456 - $191,938 Annually
