About the Role

As a Product Engineer, you will serve as the key technical link between design centers and manufacturing operations, ensuring product integrity, manufacturability, and successful implementation of engineering changes. In this role, you will drive product improvements, support manufacturing teams, and help deliver high-quality products that meet customer and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Product Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Ensuring products manufactured at the CMX facility comply with design center specifications and engineering requirements.
• Providing technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation to cross-functional teams and manufacturing operations.
• Performing tolerance analyses and dimensional stack-up evaluations to ensure product functionality and manufacturability.
• Managing and implementing Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and Manufacturing Change Notices (MCNs) for existing products.
• Maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring data accuracy within ERP and SAP systems.
• Providing technical support to manufacturing, operations, quality, and other plant functions.
• Managing product deviations, variances, and technical change requests.
• Investigating product-related issues, generating Problem Reports (PRs), and supporting permanent corrective actions through design improvements.
• Coordinating assembly tests, pilot builds, validation activities, and product implementation efforts.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on product optimization, quality enhancement, and cost reduction.
  

Requirements

As a minimum, you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Product Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or in a similar engineering role.
• Ability to read, interpret, and analyze technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CAD software such as Creo, AutoCAD, or equivalent design platforms.
• Working knowledge of ERP and PLM systems, preferably SAP and Windchill.
  
  

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and dimensional stack-up methodologies.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management (PLM).
• Experience supporting engineering change management processes, including ECNs and MCNs.
• Experience coordinating pilot builds, validation activities, and new product implementation projects.
