About the role

As a 3PL Sourcing & Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in defining and executing the strategy for third-party logistics providers. This position focuses on selecting, negotiating, and managing 3PL partners to ensure cost efficiency, service excellence, and alignment with business growth objectives. Your work will directly impact the performance, scalability, and optimization of the company’s supply chain network.

Key Responsibilities:

As a 3PL Sourcing and Contract Leader, you’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining 3PL category strategies aligned with business goals, including market intelligence, benchmarking, and cost optimization initiatives.

• Leading end-to-end sourcing processes (RFI/RFP), including scope definition, supplier evaluation, bid analysis, and award recommendations.

• Negotiating commercial terms, pricing structures, and contracts (MSAs/SOWs), ensuring clear SLAs, KPIs, and performance-based incentives.

• Managing the implementation and onboarding of selected providers, including transition planning, systems integration, and operational readiness.

• Overseeing supplier performance through KPIs and governance models, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring contract compliance.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, commercially driven, and proactive, with strong ownership and the ability to work cross-functionally. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• 3-5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, with direct involvement in 3PL sourcing, RFP/RFI processes, and contract negotiations.

• Experience managing supplier performance using KPIs/SLAs and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong financial and analytical skills, including cost modeling, pricing structures, and scenario analysis.

• Proficiency with TMS/WMS tools, Excel or BI tools, and project management methodologies.

• Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• MBA or relevant master’s degree.

• Experience managing multi-site warehousing or transportation contracts.

• Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
