About the role
As the Supplier Quality Manager, you will be in charge of the execution of supplier quality and development operational plans. You will lead a team of 2 people and will manage the implementation of initiatives to improve supplier performance.

Requirements
As a minimum you must have:
Industrial or mechanical engineering degree
Experience as a Supplier Quality Manager
Experience in teams’ leadership
Knowledge of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)/Core Tools.
Fluent in both Spanish and English
Industrial background
Availability for frequent travels
EU visa work permit

Responsibilities
As a Supplier Quality Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
Managing Supplier Quality & Development operational plans and initiatives with a direct impact on driving supplier qualification / certification, assessment, monitoring, escape management, and / or quality issue resolution processes.
Managing implementation of supplier specific quality initiative strategies.
Managing Supplier Quality-related activities, such as raw material assessments, design of contracted manufactured items, and / or materials packaging; ensuring service providers and laboratories employ good manufacturing practices (GMP) and procurement practices meet or exceed requirements.
Managing processes or standards in support of the Carrier Supplier Gold program to ensure healthy continuous improvement and sustainability.
Managing processes to ensure that supplier is capable to meet all requirements for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance
