About the role

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on FP&A Manager to join the Automated Logic Field finance team. In this role, you will lead core financial planning and reporting processes, providing the accuracy and insights needed to guide key business decisions. You’ll leverage strong technical and analytical skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership. Key Responsibilities

As an FP&A Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the P&L roadmap process for Automated Logic Field, focusing on explaining results and variances and delivering a clear story to leadership.
  • Managing HFM loads and consolidations to ensure timely and accurate financial submissions.
  • Overseeing weekly orders reporting, functional cost tracking, and causal analysis to explain performance drivers.
  • Maintaining and updating burden rates and service billable rates, ensuring accuracy and transparency across the business.
  • Driving budget compliance by monitoring monthly spend and ensuring proper variance explanations.
  • Leading annual plan and forecast cycles for operating expenses, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Partnering with Field, HR, and Finance teams to align headcount planning to support workforce optimization and business goals.
  • Developing executive-ready reports and summaries that distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Driving process improvements in forecasting, cost management, and reporting efficiency.
  • Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

We are looking for people who are analytical, collaborative, and proactive. If this is you, get in touch.

As a minimum you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ experience in finance/FP&A or advanced degree with 5 years in finance/FP&A.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with HFM/Hyperion Financial Management and SAP preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and provide financial leadership across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills: ability to report on analysis concisely and effectively both orally and in written format.

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

  • Experience in construction, contracting, or HVAC industry.
  • Knowledge of building automation or related energy solutions.

Benefits
