About the role The Sustainability Data Analytics team is seeking a highly skilled and self-directed Full Stack Developer to serve as the primary owner of the team's digital solutions portfolio. This individual will have a unique opportunity to influence technology strategy, drive innovation, and deliver business value through modern software development, cloud technologies, automation, and AI.

Unlike traditional development roles, this position requires a high degree of autonomy and accountability. The successful candidate will independently manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle for critical business applications, working directly with stakeholders to deliver solutions that support sustainability reporting, analytics, data management, and digital transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

• Serve as the primary technical owner for Sustainability Data Analytics applications and digital platforms, ensuring reliable operation, enhancement, and long-term scalability.

• Independently design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack solutions that address business needs across Sustainability Analytics, Data Management, and Data Governance functions.

• Own end-to-end solution delivery, including requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment, documentation, user adoption, and ongoing support.

• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications, APIs, and integrations using AWS while supporting the organization's future cloud strategy and adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Design and implement AI-powered and agentic workflows that automate manual processes, improve productivity, and accelerate business outcomes.

• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices, including application security, performance optimization, code quality, automated testing, and maintainability.

• Support and advance the Sustainability Data Hub vision through development of innovative digital, analytics, and automation solutions.

• Act as the technical subject matter expert for assigned platforms and provide guidance on technology strategy, architecture, and platform evolution.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 7+ years of experience in software development, including significant experience building and supporting enterprise applications.

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and SQL.

• Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting cloud-native solutions on AWS.

• Proven ability to independently own and deliver software solutions from concept through production deployment and support.

• Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and translating them into technical solutions.

• Experience developing APIs, integrations, database-driven applications, and automation solutions.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a highly autonomous role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Sustainability, ESG, Data Analytics, Engineering, or enterprise reporting applications.

• Experience building AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows, Generative AI solutions, Microsoft Copilot solutions, or workflow automation platforms.

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or supporting cloud migration initiatives.

• Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, data engineering, or data governance solutions.

• Solution architecture or technical leadership experience in small, lean teams.
