Description

Carrier Digital Hub India is looking for a passionate candidate to join our Digital ERP CoE team. As part of Carrier's digital transformation, this role is the Associate. The TechOps SAP GRC Consultant is responsible support the administration and day‑to‑day operations of SAP GRC and security processes.

·         SAP GRC & Security Operations Support

Assist with daytoday SAP GRC and Security activities such as user access provisioning, basic role/authorization troubleshooting, Firefighter ID support, and performing routine security checks across ECC / S/4HANA systems.

·         Access Monitoring & Risk Support

Help monitor access risks and segregationofduties (SoD) violations using SAP GRC Access Control tools. Escalate identified issues to senior team members and support initial analysis.

·         Change & Transport Governance Assistance

Support the review of simple role and access change requests, ensuring alignment with standard processes. Coordinate with senior consultants to ensure changes follow compliance and SoD guidelines.

·         Incident & Service Request Handling

Work on SAP Security and GRCrelated tickets by performing firstlevel investigation, resolving routine issues within SLAs, and coordinating with Basis and functional teams for more complex problems.

·         GRC Maintenance & Upkeep Support

Assist in periodic GRC system tasks such as master data updates, configuration checks, and testing activities during support packs, upgrades, or system changes.

·         Audit & Compliance Support

Support audit and compliance activities by gathering required evidence, maintaining access documentation, and assisting in periodic user access reviews and control testing.

 Experience:

  • 4–7 years of experience in IT, preferably with exposure to SAP Security or SAP GRC operations in any support or internship environment.

  • Basic understanding or hands‑on experience in SAP user access provisioning, role management basics, SoD concepts, Firefighter support, or audit‑related activities (academic projects, training, or minor support tasks acceptable).

  • Foundational knowledge of SAP S/4HANA security concepts and SAP GRC Access Control, with willingness to learn risk analysis, mitigation processes, and integration with core SAP modules.

  • Ability to work effectively in a global, culturally diverse team environment with good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Customer‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and support consultants in client‑facing activities.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and ready to work in an agile and collaborative setup with a focus on continuous learning.

  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
