Description
The Carrier Air Conditioning is looking for a high-potential candidate to join our Digital ERP Architecture team. This role will be part of Carrier DA (Design Authority) team with key tasks include overall responsibility and authority to make decisions and provide guidance on design-related matters within SAP ERP system architecture. Propose most efficient business processes to meet or exceed business goals and objectives for business process. Responsible for benchmarking SAP processes with similar industries to propose scalable, lowest ownership and cost solutions that fit with existing SAP solution. Act as the integration layer between business and technology teams to deliver a seamless solution. Guide the development team in building solutions that are well designed, standards based, robust and easily maintained within SAP ERP Systems. Support the activities of architecture, design, application development, integration, and data/analytics within SAP ERP including SAP ECC & SAP S/4 HANA. Strong understanding of ERP systems from data perspective, including data structures, modules, and integration points. In addition, familiarize with the existing digital landscape to guide in the decisions regarding reuse, make or buy. Very good knowledge of SAP OTC domain business processes and ability to engage with architects in other domains for cross-functional solutions. other responsibilities include operational support of current applications, assisting IT management in the definition of IT strategic plans, and assessment and delivery of next generation business solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting software solutions within Carrier wide SAP based ERP solution suite.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead Digital ERP -SAP architecture tasks in accordance with Carrier IT’s methodologies and governance model and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well coordinated and aligned to the overall ERP enterprise architecture.
As part of Carrier DA (Design Authority) team include overall responsibility and authority to make decisions and provide guidance on design-related matters within Order TO Cash process
Architect/Design system solutions to address business requirements, in alignment with the global solution template.
Architect and recommend solutions to achieve business goals, including integration points with other SAP modules or other applications, following SAP standard methodologies.
Guides development teams towards best practices in the design and development of enterprise solutions; validates that all requirements are met and gains approval from the Enterprise Architecture Review Board
Support & developing SAP S/4 HANA based Carrier wide global template and develop.
Develop Architecture specifications for systems, custom developments, integrations and collaborate with the development team to get those built and tested.
Analyze the existing business processes and business data and provide proactive & Constructure recommendations for improvement.
Seeks innovative solutions to problems through evaluation and proof of concepts with new and existing technology capabilities to determine compatibility with current and future architectural standards and business requirements. Continuously manages, monitors, and updates architectural models as business needs evolve. Interfaces with the business to discuss products and ideas and support Business Analysts as they drive functional requirements.
Controlling solution development to ensure standards are being observed.
Ability to establish relationships with business, IT leaders and technology subject matter experts with excellent verbal and written communication skills appropriate for both technical and non-technical audiences. Detail-oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies as Carrier progresses through a digital transformation.
Performs requirements analysis for IT systems, effort and sizing estimations, including as-is and to-be cost assessments, and provides input to business case development and validate data requirements for applications. Supports efforts to achieve architectural compliance with Carrier standards and government regulations. Drives the creation of process models for the domains of business, application, data, and technology.
Creates and manages domain level architecture with all the Technology information and integration details. Should be able to build roadmap to keep systems up to date with technology versions/upgrades.
Experience:
At least 16 year of experience
Experience in defining and maintaining global templates and play books for SAP OTC Modules.
Experience with ERP implementation projects, including data migration, integration, and customization.
Previous Order To Cash Architect experience.
Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation
Experience in design, delivery, and clear understanding the SAP SD (Order To Cash) with integration MM/SD/LE/PP and FICO in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA environments
Hands-on experience in SD Master Data/Pricing/Sales BOM/VC/Sales Quote/Sales Order /ATP/Delivery/Billing/Rebates & Returns, CS module is a big plus.
Experience with Hybris and Other CPQ/Quote system is preferred,
Experience in end-to-end implementation for a global, manufacturing company.
Experience with Global Template development and governance
Knowledge of Application Interface Framework (AIF), Application Link Enabling (ALE), and Master Data Governance (MDG) Integration of Central Finance with SAP and other non-SAP solutions is preferred.
A conceptual thinker with the professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives as well as appropriate regulatory and technical requirements.
The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate and achieve results is critical.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively work with limited oversight.
