About the role
The Senior Associate, Sales is responsible for developing and growing the Food & C&I market in Mexico by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and delivering revenue growth through a consultative, solution-based sales approach. This role manages the full sales cycle—from opportunity discovery through close—while acting as a trusted partner to customers and internal cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
- Qualify customer accounts and assess operational, logistics, quality, and procurement needs to identify and define commercial opportunities.
- Lead all stages of the sales process, from discovery to close, with an action-oriented and results-driven mindset.
- Develop, own, and execute a sales plan within the Food & C&I market in Mexico, aligned with assigned revenue targets.
- Present and demonstrate Sensitech solutions to existing and prospective customers, clearly articulating value propositions and business outcomes.
- Penetrate existing accounts and expand them to their maximum potential through cross-selling and upselling strategies.
- Identify and target new major accounts within assigned territories and industries.
- Manage and maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline using Salesforce (SFDC).
- Provide timely, accurate rolling revenue forecasts (90-day, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Client Services, Engineering, and Operations to ensure accurate forecasting and customer delivery.
- Prepare weekly activity reports, trip summaries, and operational reports including revenue and forecast updates.
- Deliver a 12-month revenue forecast by product type as required by management.
- Travel extensively within Mexico to visit customers and develop relationships (approximately 50% travel).

As a minimum you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in full-cycle, quota-carrying sales roles.
- Advanced English proficiency (verbal and written).
- Strong background in direct sales, with demonstrated hunting and business development capability.
- Experience selling solutions related to cold chain, logistics, food industry, or industrial markets.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) and Microsoft Office tools.
- Availability for extensive travel and valid driver’s license; passport and U.S. visa preferred.
It would be nice if you have:
- Experience in cold chain monitoring solutions or temperature-controlled logistics.
- Background working with national or regional customer portfolios.
- Exposure to technology-enabled or data-driven sales solutions.

- Strategic and analytical mindset with strong planning and organizational capabilities.
