Plan & Spec Engineer (VRF)

About the Role

Carrier is seeking a Plan & Spec Engineer (VRF) to drive specification sales and support HVAC system design for commercial and residential projects. This role works closely with consultants, developers, architects, and project owners to recommend optimal VRF solutions and secure Carrier products in project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess project requirements to recommend suitable VRF systems

• Support HVAC system selection, preliminary design, cooling load calculations, and technical proposals

• Work closely with consultants, designers, developers, and project stakeholders to secure Carrier VRF products in project specifications

• Provide technical consultations, product presentations, and design recommendations for project applications

• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender requirements to identify business opportunities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with consulting engineers, design firms, and key decision-makers

• Collaborate with sales and project teams to support project bidding and successful project execution

• Monitor project pipelines, market trends, and competitor activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC design, application engineering, consulting, plan & spec, or project engineering

• Knowledge of VRF systems, HVAC design principles, and building services

• Experience with cooling load calculations and system selection is preferred

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

• Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Good command of English and Thai
