About the role

Due to our continued growth, we have several opportunities for experienced Chiller Engineers and HVAC and Industrial/Commercial Service Engineers to join our busy teams in London and surrounding areas.

Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and support most breakdowns and commission all standard products, particularly industrial water chillers, to deliver a first-class service to all our customers.

What you will be doing

  • Efficiently respond to service calls, conduct and document risk assessments before carrying out any work, and ensure it is completed to a high standard.

  • Manage large sites and/or supervise other technicians.

  • Fulfil commercial and technical aspects of the contract without supervision.

  • Troubleshoot and support breakdowns, in person and via computer or phone linkups.

  • Commission standard and large capacity products but also advise on the wider system installation and identify system issues beyond the scope of supply.

  • Review complex technical documents such as wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings, Pressure Enthalpy diagrams, etc.

  • Provide support in one of the following technical disciplines, general theory & technical support, Centrifugal Compressor rebuilds, Absorption Chillers and Controls Chiller Sequencing

  • Attend and participate in customer meetings.

  • Support as an SME to assist the Training Manager in preparing and delivering courses.

Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Qualification or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air conditioning, Safe Handling or Refrigerants

  • HNC / ONC in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

  • Full UK Driving licence (or equivalent)

  • F Gas qualified

  • Experience in a similar role in the HVAC industry, ideally industrial chillers
