Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving and executing the success in commercial sales project installations.
  • Oversees the planning, execution and completion of the installation projects in accordance with relevant building regulations and standards.
  • Execute within the construction timelines, co-ordinates work between various internal and external stakeholders, attend and conduct on-site meetings and responsible for inspections.
  • Manage and deliver project within budget and framework of risk and environmental considerations.
  • Perform & ensure EH&S compliance to work delivered.
  • Prepare, review and submit all detailed programs, schedule, method statement, technical proposal and risk assessment plans.
  • Chair meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, technical experts and suppliers to update/review project progress and resolve any design/budget/technical issues that might derail the project delivery.
  • Direct and supervise field engineer(s) and sub-contractors, and manage effective communication between all different groups to warrant timely response to project requirements in day-to-day operations.
  • Ability to spearhead in resolving site challenges effectively with team resources.
  • Administer Purchase Orders to factory and suppliers with internal stakeholders’ supports to ensure smooth delivery to site.
  • Review and approve payments to sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Review and submit progressive payments to Clients’ portal after completion.

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical is preferred but Diploma with relevant experience is also acceptable.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in same or higher capacity.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active and result-oriented individual with a proven track record in the building industry.
  • Able to perform within tight timeline to meet project objectives.
  • Must be independent without supervision and able to lead the project team with team oriented and committed.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Meticulous and able to handle large volume of work with high accuracy.
  • Strong in people management, coordination, and customer fronting.
  • Eagerness to learn and proactive attitude.
  • Able to undertake all projects/jobs assigned by management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
